While some requirements, such as blower door testing, are generally well understood by Passive House designers, others are more opaque. These testing and verification requirements are both explicit in the PHIUS standards and implicit in several third-party programs that are required by PHIUS. By gaining a basic understanding of these requirements and additional certifications, Designers can position their projects for a higher degree of success within the Passive House system.
